Brown Pastels:
These unburnt pastels have been made from natural colours in synthetic dye stuffs. They are grease-free and can be dissolved with water. Fixing is absolutely necessary.
Ten brown shades plus shades of black and white offer a rich variety for individual or combined usage. The softness of the pastels allows an optimum in colour for all techniques.
There is hardly a theme that has been produced without the use of brown pastels in various shades: portrait, nude, still life or landscapes.
We recommend you use paper with a soft surface as the adherence to hard paper is naturally very weak.
